Trudel | MacPherson announces landmark national study of digital media in the arts

Many arts leaders are working hard to get the most out of the latest digital communications tools and social media. To take a snapshot of field utilization and satisfaction with marketing efforts in digital and social media, Trudel | MacPherson has created the How Strong is Your Social Net? Survey to measure messaging alignment, resource allocation and communications effectiveness of arts organizations.

More than 1,300 arts organizations around the country have already taken the survey through their local or regional membership associations. We are now opening the survey to all interested arts groups in the US. This is an opportunity for you to tell us what you’re doing and how you feel it’s working for you. We’ll be presenting our findings in the Fall at various conferences (watch this space for updates!) and releasing national and regional summaries on our website in the Fall.

Developed to help arts organizations navigate this quickly evolving landscape, the survey is designed to take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete. It explores adoption and usage of digital and social media, measurement tactics, platforms, and ROI, among many other topics of interest to our field.

All responses are strictly anonymous–answers you provide will be aggregated into national and regional reports and any quotes we use will not be attributed. If you do elect to share your contact information with us, we will not release it to anyone.

To participate in this important national discussion, please start by taking the survey.
